It has great history but no I never felt anything.
No unfortunately. Just call ahead of time.
I am not positive but I believe in New York state they are not allowed to charge gift cards inactivity fee anymore
Most likely they also have a banquet room upstairs
Hi Gloria, we do have private rooms/spaces for parties and larger groups on the first floor, our first floor tavern accommodates 20-30 guests, our back dining room accommodates 16-24 guests. We do reserve our front fireplace room depending on the party size and day of week. Due to the history of the building we do not have an elevator, hope this helps. We never charge for a private space, it's your food & beverages plus sales tax and we do add a 17% gratuity to the bill. 716.632.7669 if we can help you more personally on the phone. Thank you
I don't know for sure but I don't think so. Food is very good and staff is helpful and friendly.
During restaurant week
yes~! we're only closed four days a year Christmas, Memorial Day, July 4th Independence Day and Superbowl Sunday!
There's a parking lot in back, but I had to park down the street.

This place has one of my most favorite atmospheres. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to eat. Some of the menue options are more pricey. Although they do have good sandwich prices around 11 dollars a dish.
Great historical spot. Beautiful interior and the food and service are always top notch!
Sad on Christmas Eve did run out of the turkey dinner. Very sad. Usely good food but no turkey.
I've been here many times before. Food is always well prepared. Today i had the filet which was as good as any local steakhouse. My favorite part about the eagle house is the atmosphere and ambience.
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly wait staff, front and back patios make you very comfortable. Eggplant parmesan was a bit dry/overcooked. Pasta sauce was also more sweet than I prefer. Generous servings. No fruit in the picture of sangria made me conclude the kitchen needs to do more.
I was here for an event in a private room so maybe they struggled due to timing on food. While service was good the food was OK at best. The fish fry stood out as a crowd favorite. The Yankee Pot Roast was really salty--maybe too salty. Fries, however, were under seasoned. This is an old staple that is coasting on reputation a little bit.
I was there for a work meeting. The waiter Sean was very courteous. He did his job without interrupting the entire meeting. The food was great!
Beautiful building. Great food. Definately going back.
What a nice place to take your wife or girlfriend very relaxing and nice people
Went for a baby shower. We were treated very well and the food was delicious. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's been open for a very long time and the history here is awesome. Had a very good time and I will definitely be coming back for dinner sometime soon.
The pot roast was out if this world and a generous portion - a special for this St. Patrick's Day week!! My friend said the corn beef and cabbage was the best she has ever had!!! Ken was a perfect waiter!! I highly recommend the Eagle House in Williamsville, NY!!
Homey, historical and comfortable. Good food, and excellent service from Rachel! Not one from our table of four had an issue with anything. Will add to our list of well enjoyed experiences!
We had our wedding reception here in 2017....they couldn't have done a better job. It's now our special place ⤠the food is always exceptional, service is great and the atmosphere is charming and comfy and quaint.
Food was good and our server ken was great. Unique atmosphere it almost feels like someones homr
We had take out tonight and since we can't eat at this wonderful restaurant take out is the next best thing! The food was delicious and packed up perfectly so no spills.
Good food, good atmosphere, like being in an old house.
Friendly staff, good food excellent prices. Very nice dessert selection as well. A Definite a return trip is in order.
Still great food, service, and ambiance at this landmark.
Busy, friendly place to eat. Menu has something for everyone. Generous portions. Would definitely go back.
Nice, pretty complete lunch menu. Good quality food and service.
Amazing food, historic dining room and bar. The chef takes his time with each dish that is served and the servers and bartenders match their commitment to excellence. I am a weekly regular for a unique culinary experience each week. Whether alone or with company, even a banquet in there expansive dining rooms you will feel right at home in the historic gem tucked in the village of williamsville. Stop on in and take a rest from your journey, sit by the fire and enjoy an amazing meal with exceptional service.
The patio out back is really nice, and the majestic period wooden interior is everywhere, very stately, makes it among the warmest vibes your can find in a restaurant anywhere. The food is excellent. Great bar with local brew. It's one of the best for sure.
This is my favorite restaurant for lunch in the area. Nice cozy atmosphere, great food, very reasonable prices. Good drinks too!
Great atmosphere. Really has an old world charm. The food was very well done. Good selection for kids as well.
Never again! I ordered the brunch burger that was supposed to have a fried egg, which was missing. So they corrected my order by bringing out a friend egg on a separate plate. Since I had to reassemble my own burger, I should has just went back to the kitchen and made my own order. Then I would have been able to get a medium cooked burger, like I ordered instead of well done.
Great customer service, they most definitely have that. But, for a finer end of dining while keeping it an American menu, it was quite a let down. The soup was good, BUT the $34 Beef Wellington was very soggy, overcooked, and outrageously salty from the jus. It was just one dish, so I’m sure they have plenty of other good food. Completely turned me off of Beef Wellington for a long time...
Service was excellent. Did not feel rushed. Had an excellent fish fry and Linda had excellent eggplant Parmesan. Great wine price today.
I always enjoy this place. The fish fry is fresh and tasty. My wife had turkey and enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable. And the building itself makes dinning a special occasion.
Very tasty food. You csn tell they put their heart and soul into it. The restaurant itself is great for a date, family outing or event. They have open bar too during events as option.
